Distant Mirrors, Garden of Dreams
Camilla Hoitenga plays in an extraordinary performance – live from Lyon and simultaneously happening in New York!

Le Jardin des Songes is an interactive visual and musical installation to be presented by Le Musées Gadagne at Lyon in the context of the Biennale Musiques en Scène 2014. The installation features people in two different places, Lyon and New York, simultaneously communicating their dreams via internet and mobile phone.
Camilla Hoitenga is participating in an extension of this installation, a musical project called "Miroirs distants", a multimedia installation and concert conceived and composed by Jean-Baptiste Barrière and presented by La journée Cumulus.
Two flutists – Camilla Hoitenga in Lyon and Margaret Lancaster in New York – will play pre-prepared musical material, improvising by exploiting the environment offered by the Le Jardin des Songes while communicating musically and visually in real time via a large screen.
For Camilla, this is one more exciting experience in working with Jean-Baptiste Barrière.
